Our story

Bob & Lush is named after the dogs we love - Bob the Dachshund and Lush the German Shorthair Pointer. 

Last year Bob and Lush weren’t very happy. Lush’s owner Anders started to notice scratchy marks on her skin, and Bob’s owner Alan realized that Bob was getting very irritable about his itchy coat.

It was only after a vet suggested that Lush may have an allergy to certain things in her food, that Anders began to look at what exactly was in the food he was feeding her.

As it turned out, it was very difficult to tell. Not only were ingredients lists long and complicated, but there was food that said it was ‘Chicken and Rice’ that contained ‘poultry’, beef and pork. There was food that said it was meaty, but was made up almost entirely of cheap fillers.

Bob & Lush was created because we wanted to do better! We wanted to revolutionize dog food.

Firstly, we made Bob and Lush the food they need; a healthy and tasty mix of wet and dry food that contains what it says it will contain. No rubbish, no cheap fillers, no hidden meats, no bad stuff. Just pure goodness.

Then we’ve made sure you can understand what’s in it, by making our packaging fun and simple.

And finally we’ve made sure that it’s sold online. Because Bob and Lush hate going to the supermarket, and we’d much rather take them for a walk instead.

Since eating Bob & Lush, Bob and Lush have been a lot happier; their skin conditions have cleared up and it’s amazing to see how much their quality of life has improved.
